If you do affiliate SEO to make money online or if you’re interested in this business model then the likelihood is you’re gonna be using WordPress for your website.
In my opinion (and many other successful affiliate marketers) WordPress is the best platform to use for affiliate SEO for the following reasons:
It’s very easy to use and manage yourself
WordPress is by a huge number of people so it is very easy to find someone to help you with any tech issues
It is very easy to find a VA who knows how to use WordPress when you come to outsourcing
There are a huge number of great WP plugins (many of which are free) that can make a huge difference to your business
There are many more reasons why I would recommend WordPress, but for this article, these are the most important things to consider.
So, with that said, what are some of the best WordPress plugins to help you with affiliate SEO?
Over my 7+ years as an affiliate, I’ve tried and tested a huge number of different plugins. Some are a must-have while others are pretty bad and can actually harm your website and your rankings.
I could list quite a few great WP plugins here, but I’m just gonna talk about the plugins I use that can help more specifically for affiliate SEO.
So here are my top 12 WP plugins for affiliate marketing. Some of these plugins are totally free while others are paid plugins.
My Top 12 WordPress Plugins For Affiliate SEO & Blogging
WP Zero Bounce
WP Zero Bounce is a cool little plugin that can be used for several different reasons and in different ways to help you make more money as an affiliate.
Basically, WP Zero Bounce is a redirect plugin. Its main function is to redirect your site visitors to a chosen page when they hit the back button. You can redirect them to an internal page on your site or even to a page on a totally different site.
Why use WP Zero Bounce?
Firstly, using this plugin can help to reduce your bounce rate. Unfortunately, most site visitors don’t click through to other pages on a website. They usually find one of your articles and either hit the back button almost immediately if it’s not what they’re looking for or read your article then hit the back button.
The problem is, even if your article is what your site visitors is looking for, once they hit the back button without clicking through to any other pages on your site, Google will log this as a “bounce”, which will put your bounce rate up.
The higher your bounce rate, the more Google thinks your article is not what the visitor is looking for and, therefore, not relevant to the keywords you’re ranking for. So, having a high bounce rate can mean a demotion in Google search, which sucks…
Another cool thing you can do with this plugin is to redirect visitors to a pre-sell article on your site. This will give them more of a chance to see your offer and take you up on it.
You can also set the plugin to redirect to an affiliate offer instead of to your pre-sell page. Personally, if I do this, I only set this on pre-sell articles, which are written to promote a specific product. This way it is not jarring for your site visitor to be redirected to random pages.
If you do this, be aware that some affiliate programs don’t like people to do this, whereas others don’t mind at all. So, to be on the safe side, read through he T&C’s of the affiliate program before redirecting your visitors to them.
In my experience, I’d say you will also have a higher conversion rate if you were to redirect a person to a pre-sell page on your site or a bridge page in your funnel rather than just redirecting them directly to the affiliate offer.
One more word of warning for this plugin, don’t use it on every page of your site (unless you’re doing the SerpShaker method taught in SEO Affiliate Domination). This is especially true if you have a site that is getting a high amount of traffic. I tested this on one of my sites that gets around 2,000 visitors per day. After about 15 days I started to lose rankings. When I checked Google Search Console I saw an error about unnatural redirects. Fortunately, I disabled the plugin before it caused an issue with my site and the rankings came back after about 20 days.
I have tested the same thing on sites with low volume traffic, around 100 visitors per day and there is no problems.
Thrive Leads is awesome! I was very late looking at Thrive Themes and all the cool products they offer to WordPress users. That was a huge mistake. If I could go back in time, I would buy Thrive Themes earlier in my career.
Thrive Leads is one of several plugins that come with your Thrive Themes purchase. While you can purchase Thrive Leads separately, it makes far more sense to just become a Thrive Member and access all of their products and services. It is definitely worth it in my opinion.
So, what does Thrive leads actually do? Its main function is to help you collect leads and grow your email list. However, you can also use it as a popup, ribbon banner, slide-in and more to also collect leads, send someone directly to your pre-sell page or bridge page or even directly to an affiliate offer.
Using Thrive Leads you can also create funnels, collect leads and then offer your site visitors the opportunity to buy your products or even an affiliate offer.
Here’s an image of a Thrive Leads box I’m using on my site at the moment.
Thrive Architect is another excellent plugin provided by the folks at Thrive Themes. This plugin is very easy to use and helps you to create great-looking landing and pre-sell pages. You can easily add buttons, images, videos, pros and cons boxes, review boxes and more.
Basically, you can pretty much style your pages exactly how you want them. This is another must-have tool for affiliate SEO’s to help improve your conversion rate.
Here’s a video all about Thrive Architect by Shane Melaugh, the founder of Thrive Themes.
There are several more awesome plugins that Thrive Themes provide which can help you, such as the Thrive Quiz Builder. You can check them all out here.
If you are not looking to purchase Thrive Leads just yet, then another cool plugin you can check out is Hello Bar. But if you have Thrive Leads then you won’t need to use Hello Bar.
With Hello Bar you can create banners, ribbons and slide-ins to help you collect email addresses or send someone directly to an affiliate offer.
I like Hello Bar because you can start using it for free and it’s very easy to use. On the free account, you are limited though to how many site visitors you can have per month. If you need more than you’ll need to upgrade to a paid account.
If your site is in the early stages or is just not getting much traffic yet then you can start using Hello Bar and upgrade to using Thrive Leads once your traffic and income builds.
Here’s a screenshot of a Hello Bar slide-in I’m using on my site at the moment.
The KK Star Ratings plugin adds rich snippet start to your SERP listings and allows your site visitors top vote on your content.
Rich snippet stars have shown to increase your click-through rate (CTR) by as much as 40%. This is great news for us. So, even if one of your articles is lower down on page one of Google search (say, no5 for example), this plugin will help attract more people to click on your listing.
This is a cool plugin that allows you to hook up your site to your social media platforms. Then, each time you publish a new post, the NextScripts plugin will automatically post your article to your social media accounts.
This, of course, saves you time, but it also creates a backlink to your individual articles from the social platforms. Of course, these backlinks are not especially powerful, but it all helps!
This is the link clocking tool I use on all my sites. Search engines don’t particularly like hop links very much, so you can sue the Pretty Links plugin to create a neater looking link. This is also known as link cloaking.
A really important feature of Pretty Links is that you can set the links to no-follow, which you should ALWAYS do when you link to an affiliate offer.
Pretty Links also allows you to track the clicks of your links so you can see which ones your site visitors are interacting with.
This is a great plugin to help improve user experience, but it also gives a nice SEO advantage.
When you use this plugin, you can add a table of contents for your articles, which will help your visitors navigate your posts to find what they’re looking for more easily.
You’ll also notice that the table of contents is also hyperlinked to different sections in your article by headings and sub-headings. It’s these hyperlinks that can help give you an SEO boost. Just make sure you use some LSI keywords in your headings and sub-headings 😉
I do use Google Analytics but I also like to use the WP Statistics plugin to see exactly how many visitors are coming form Google, Yahoo, Bing etc each day.
The plugin can show you quite a bit of info, including the number of overall site visitors, search engine referrals, your top-visited pages, the latest keywords people have searched for to find your site and their geo-location.
This is another plugin I really like. I add a YouTube video to most of my articles for several reasons:
Google loves YouTube (because it owns it) and, therefore, it is suspected that you may get articles indexed more quickly in if has a YouTube video (which will mean that Google can then earn more money form add clicks)
If the YouTube video I add to my site has my primary keyword or part of my keyword in the title of the video then it can also help my article rank in Google search for that keyword also
Google likes media-rich content and adding a YouTube video is an easy way to do this
So, where does this Google XML Sitemaps For Videos plugin come in..?
Well, Google loves sitemaps as it makes it easier for them to crawl and index content. With this plugin, you can create a sitemap for the video (as long as you’re publishing as a post, not a page) and then ping Google to come to crawl your new article.
Once you do this, Google will come to crawl your article much more quickly than it otherwise would have, which will help your new post to get indexed more quickly 🙂
There are a load of helpful plugins out there if you’re using WordPress for affiliate SEO. This list is by no means exhaustive, but they are the main ones I’m using at the moment.
Be careful not to add too many plugins to your site as some of them can be very resource-hungry and slow your site down. So try to keep your plugin list lean and make sure you update them frequently.
Which plugins do you use for affiliate SEO? Let me know in the comments below.

My Detailed SEO Affiliate Domination Review
To start this review let me tell you the goal of the course and what it is actually designed for:
The goal of SEOAD is to get you making $100-$200 per day in passive income with affiliate SEO.
So, is this actually possible..?
Let’s find out…
I first came across affiliate marketer, Greg Jeffries in the OMG (One Man Gang) Facebook group, another underground SEO and internet marketing community I am a member of, back in 2018.
It was his affiliate marketing success stories that really caught my eye. Here was a guy that had been doing affiliate marketing not much longer than myself but was having a tremendous amount of success.
I noticed Greg also teaches his methods in his SEOAD course, however, I chose not to buy it straight away. I was having reasonable success with the methods I was using, but I was looking for more ways to scale my affiliate income.
After a few months feeling like I had hit a plateaux with my affiliate business I decided to take a closer look at Greg’s course.
Although I have been earning good money as an affiliate for several years I am always conscious of spending more money on courses.
One thing that swayed me was Greg’s unique pitch that he doesn't offer a money back guarantee, but instead, he offers to give you the entire money you invested in the course back once you earn the same amount of money by using his strategies.
Personally, I think this is a great approach as it actually gets people to take action on what he is teaching in his SEO course.
Here’s a screenshot of the PayPal email when I earned my money back from the course. I'm based in the UK so I received my money back in ££.
So, who in the hell is Greg Jeffries anyway..?
Who is Greg Jeffries?
If this is the first you’ve heard of Greg then let me introduce him to you.
Greg is a thirty-something Texan guy who has built a rather sizeable income as an affiliate.
He is a ClickFunnels™ Dream Car Winner and one of ClickFunnel’s most successful affiliates. He is also one of the sixteen affiliate marketing coaches that ClickFunnels™ asked to teach in the new ClickFunnels™ Affiliate Bootcamp, which launched earlier in 2019.
In the CF Affiliate Bootcamp Greg only hints at a small part of his SEO strategies. He gives the “under the hood” training of exactly what he is doing in his SEO Affiliate Domination course.
The last income report I saw from Greg he was up to around $50,000 per month, which is one hell of an income for any affiliate marketer!
Here's a snapshot of some of his earnings reports.
Of course, that doesn't mean that you or I will make the same amount of money with affiliate marketing by following his methods. It all depends on the amount of work you put in.
Basically, the guy definitely knows what he’s talking about.
SEO Affiliate Domination - The Good & The Bad
Having been a member of Greg’s course for a while, I think it’s important to say that his course is not for everyone.
In this review I’m going to give you the inside info and break down exactly who this course is good for and who it’s not. I will also tell you what to expect once you decide to buy this course and get inside the members area.
Greg’s SEO Methods
In his affiliate course, Greg shows you two different methods to earn money online.
Method One: Mass Page Sites
Method Two: Authority Sites
These two SEO strategies are both very different from each other and each have their pros and cons. You may prefer one method over the other to earn money online.
Method One - Mass Page Sites
This first method is a ninja technique that most people don't talk about in affiliate marketing, simply because they don't know about it.
It's generally a quicker way to make affiliate commissions online, but does not have as much longevity as method two.
So, with the mass page site method you’re gonna basically target hundreds or even thousands of long-tail keywords on the same topic and create unique articles for each.
Once you have a large number of articles on the same topic in the search results, Google will start to recognise your site as an authority on that topic and rank you for a large number of the long-tail keywords.
This affiliate marketing strategy does not work for large volume keywords, but instead, leverages the collective search volume of many low search volume keywords.
Even though long-tail keywords have lower search volume, they often have higher buyer intent and attract site visitors who are already on the fence when it comes to buying products.
Example of Method One
If for example the product you want to promote is a hosting company, let’s say it’s called “HostCompanyX”.
You’ll take your seed keyword, being “HostCompanyX” and put it into a free keyword tool that Greg recommends to quickly pull hundreds of long-tail keywords, such as “HostCompanyX review”, “HostCompanyX Vs HostCompanyY”, “HostCompanyX discount code”, and so forth.
Now, think about what it would be like to have an automated system that instantly creates articles for you based on each of your keywords. Each article will have your affiliate link for a site visitor to buy the product through your link.
Having been in the affiliate SEO game for almost seven years at this point, I haven’t come across any other course that teaches this method. It’s a very underground tactic.
Of course, there is a bit more to it than just this to actually get it working, but Greg lays it all out in his course and is an easy strategy even for a beginner to implement once you know how.
When I implemented method one from the SEO Affiliate Domination course, I set up 3 sites, two made money within 3 months and the third site took about six months to make money online.
However, it can be a bit of a hit and miss strategy. You may set up a site and it doesn’t do anything, but the next one may start ranking for terms and getting traffic from all over the place.
It is also important to know that you will also have to invest in a few additional tools to get this method to work.
Additional costs to make method 1 work:
When it comes to any kind of internet marketing, it is important to be aware that there will be some costs involved when setting up your business.
Method 1 relies on the use of a few tools, which you will also need to purchase, some you need, some you don’t need (in my opinion). Fortunately, they are not too expensive. They are:
Mass page site creator software - around $100 one off cost (essential) Additional ninja software $25 one off cost (essential)
Greg also recommends using an automated link building software tool, which costs $67 per month or $497 as a one off cost.
Method One Pros & Cons
Quick ROI method
Easy To implement
Rinse and repeat strategy
Not a long-term strategy
Some sites will work, some sites won’t
Method 2 - Authority Sites
The second SEO strategy Greg talks about in the course is building authority sites. Unfortunately, this method is not covered in much detail.
Many of the methods that Greg teaches in the course, however, can be applied to building an authority site.
Having said this, there are definitely things in this course that I would NOT do to an authority site, some of which, may not be clear to a beginner.
For example, personally, I definitely would not use any automated link building software directly to an authority site.
Most members of SEOAD start with the mass page site method and then move on to building authority sites along side these quick ROI sites.
In my opinion, Gregs course is excellent and definitely value for money, but it you’re ONLY interested in building authority sites then you may be better off buying a course like Affilorama.
If you’re looking to either get started with affiliate SEO and are looking for a quick ROI, are an experienced affiliate looking for more ninja techniques to add to your arsenal then I would definitely recommend to buy Greg’s SEO Affiliate Domination course.
Greg's Private Facebook Group For The Course
In my opinion, this is a great asset of the course as it is a very active Facebook group with several experienced marketers giving a lot of help and value as well as Greg Jeffries himself posting frequently in the group.
Greg is constantly coming up with new ideas and affiliate marketing strategies which he shares openly in this group. He sometimes also creates new videos showing new strategies that he is working on and shares them here with the members.
What I Like About SEO Affiliate Domination
You Can Earn Your Money Back
This is a very unique advantage to buying this affiliate marketing course.
Basically, once you show Greg that you have earned the same amount of money or more from affiliate commissions by using his methods he’ll give you back the entire 100% of the money you paid to buy his course.
When I bought the course I paid $497. I’m based in the UK so for me that’s around £360. Here’s the PayPal screenshot of when Greg sent my investment back.
The price for SEO Affiliate Domination is set to increase soon. Personally, I would have paid twice the price I did as I have since earned around 25X the amount I invested in the course at the time of writing this article.
As I mentioned earlier, this is a very active Facebook group with several experienced affiliate marketers who are very helpful and supportive.
Greg Openly Shares His Niches
It is very rare in affiliate marketing for a successful person to share openly which products he is promoting. However, Greg regularly does this as well as recommending others in the private members group.
Greg reveals some of his sites, both mass page sites and one of his authority sites so you have examples that you can model.
Weekly Q&A Webinars
It can be very frustrating to get into a course but then to be left with a ton of questions and no one to answer them.
Fortunately, there are also weekly live Q&A sessions that anyone can jump ion to ask their questions.
These webinar sessions are recorded and then added to the group for you to review again and again if you need to.
This course covers two very effective SEO strategies and is full of little gems and ninja tricks, most of which people just don’t talk about openly online.
Members are also often sharing pro tips in the private members group.
What I Didn’t Like About This SEO Course
Can Be Overwhelming
There is a lot of information in the course that it can be very easy to get side-tracked by the different methods if you are new to internet marketing.
The best way to get the most out of this course is to pick a strategy and stick to it until you are successful and then move onto the next.
Recommended Products Are Not All Necessary
While the products that Greg recommends you use in his course are all good, not all of them are necessary in my opinion.
It is easy to start spending extra money online on tools only to find out a little while later that you don’t really need all of them.
I don’t think Greg is misleading people by this, as he’s just showing you exactly what he does and which tools he uses. However, if you have some experience in affiliate marketing then you will find that some of the tools you can do without.
SEO Affiliate Domination Price
The price of Greg’s course has fluctuated as he has tried several different price points. I head that when he first launched it was sold for $297, but has been as high as $997.
When I bought the course it was $497, which I believe is the current price. However, Greg said he is planning to put the price up soon so I highly recommend to buy it now at the lower price if you are ready to do so.
If you buy Greg’s course now though you should get access to all the new content he puts in there.
Personally, in my opinion I would say the $497 price point is about right for the current content in the course.
As I wrap up my SEO Affiliate Domination review, I would like to tell you about my bonuses that I am offering when you buy Greg’s course.
I thought about what was missing from the course and how I could improve upon the value. So I have put together some bonuses that I wish I had when I first bought the course.

In the Bootcamp sixteen of ClickFunnels’ top affiliates will walk you through step-by-step exactly what they do to make thousands of dollars online.
So, without further ado, here are three great ways to use ClickFunnels for affiliate marketing.
In order to be able to drive traffic to your affiliate offers you will, of course, need to use at least one method for driving traffic.
While many people are using YouTube to promote ClickFunnels, I personally prefer to get my message out there through blogging.
YouTube is a great strategy, but in my opinion it has become saturated to promote this particular affiliate program.
You can still have success promoting ClickFunnels via YouTube, absolutely, but you’re gonna be up against much stiffer competition. You will also need to find a unique angle in order to really stand out.
However, not a lo of people are putting the time into creating a blog that ranks for organic traffic in Google for ClickFunnels and funnel software relater terms.
In my opinion, the best platform to use for your blog is WordPress. It is quick and easy to set up, easy to manage and there are several great plugins you can use to help improve both the ranking and conversion rate of your blog.
3 Ways To Use ClickFunnels For Affiliate Marketing
Build an email list
Regardless of which business model you are using, one thing you want to make sure you are doing is building an email list.
An email list is a business most valuable asset because it is traffic that they actually own and can re-market to again and again.
So, you can use ClickFunnels to build an email list. All you’ll need to do is create a lead capture funnel or use and tweak one of the pre-existing lead capture funnels that you get when you sign up for an account.
Of course, there are numerous ways to drive traffic to your lead capture page. You can direct traffic to it from your blog, you can run solo ads to it, you can promote it on social media, use pay per click ads or banner ads for example.
If you’ve been in the internet marketing world for more than five minutes then you’ve probably already heard the expressions, “the money’s in the list”.
Well, this is absolutely true.
As you’re building your list you can market affiliate offers to them that may be of interest to them.
Free gifts and special offers
For this method, you can offer a free gift known as a lead magnet in exchange for the person’s email.
Once they opt in to your list to get your free offer you then automatically redirect them to a hot affiliate offer in your niche. If they buy it, you get paid.
They’ll be also now be subscribed to your email list so you can always market the same offer again to those who didn’t buy the first time along with other relevant offers that they may like.
This method can work great when buying solo ad traffic. Most people doing solo ads only do the first part and just try to collect emails in exchange for their free gift. But if you combine it with redirecting them to an offer then you have the chance of earning a lot more money on the front end.
Offer bonuses in exchange for buying an affiliate offer through your link
In my opinion, this is a good strategy for either higher ticket items that your promoting or affiliate offers that give you recurring monthly revenue.
All you need to do is direct traffic to your landing page where you talk about how great the affiliate product is.
Then, on the same landing page, you list all the bonuses you are offering to people who buy the affiliate product through your link.
Your bonuses can be products you’ve made or even relevant PLR products that you’ve bought and rebranded.
On your landing page, you encourage them to click the link or button to buy the affiliate offer.
They are then taken to a bridge page where you thank them and explain that all they need to do is email you with their purchase ID or order number for the affiliate product and you’ll send them the bonuses.
When you offer bonuses it has the effect of increasing conversion rates considerably.
If you’re struggling to make money as an affiliate or even if you’re doing pretty well but you want to ramp things up to the next level, I’m going to share with you the program I joined that turned it all around for me and enabled me to go from making the occasional affiliate commission her and there to making $5,000 per month from a single website.
The program is called Affilorama and is owned and run by one of the worlds most successful affiliate marketers, Mark Ling.
Mark is a great guy, super passionate about teaching affiliate marketing and has a great team who look after their members at every step along their affiliate marketing journey.
If it wasn’t for this program, I would have still been scrabbling around trying to make sense of affiliate marketing.
Mark has a range of courses he offers, but for me, it was his Affilo Jetpack product that really made everything work for me. You can join Affilorama for free here ” />” />” />” />” />
